Research Trend of Projective Drawing Tests for Young Childrens and Adolescents (2010-2020): Focusing on Domestic Journals

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trend of projective drawing tests for young childrens and adolescents published in Korean journals to understand the flow of existing research and to suggest a direction of the future research. For this, 140 dissertations published in Korean journals from 2010-2020 were collected and the year of the research, research sources, research subjects, research methods, research topic of psychopathological characteristics and study designs of drawing tests were analyzed. As a result, HTP, KFD and KSD studies were most conducted annually throughout the period. It is most often used in the field of art therapy and is used in various fields, and it is that most of the research sites were educational institutions. The highest number of researches was targeted on elementary and middle school in terms of age organization and the lowest number of researches was targeted on high school students. And for the trend of research topic of psychopathological characteristics have been a lot of research on variables of emotional and self. For the trend of research methods, outcome research was most common, and ex-post analysis of single case study was dominated, and analsis of literature review and process research studies have not been well studied. The ex-post design frequency using HTP, KFD and KSD was the highes, and based on these results, we propose sugeestion for the research, analysis, development and follow-up studieds of projective drawing tests.
